Prayer for Creation

God of Creation,
In your endless love you created everything. You called forth human beings that we might love and care for your creation as you do.
The rainbow and the law are signs of your promise to protect the earth, and your covenant with a people called to witness to the nations.
Recreate in us the passion to care for your creation, even though we may fail, help us step out of the boat in the faith that you will be with us and strengthen us, when we are unsure give us hope, when we fall pull us up, and when we are afraid of sinking may your words of encouragement keep us afloat.
