Prayer for bushfires

God of compassion,

We come before you with heavy hearts, mindful of the devastating bushfires that have ravaged our land. We lift up all those who have been affected, especially those who have lost homes and belongings.

We pray for the brave firefighters and all those involved in battling these blazes. Grant them strength, wisdom, and protection as they work tirelessly to safeguard lives and property.

In this time of trial, may our collective efforts bring comfort and aid to those in need. Help us recognise our role in supporting one another and caring for the land.

We trust in your guiding light and pray for the healing and restoration of our land.
